As part of the Quieter West Indian Ocean project, which aims to assess and reduce underwater noise from maritime traffic in the Indian Ocean, Antsiva is proud to have hosted the Quiet-Oceans team and WCS Madagascar to analyze the sound signature of the PONANT cruise ship, Le Bellot.
Northwest of Madagascar, a measuring buoy consisting of a floating line of three hydrophones was deployed and was able to assess the ship's acoustic signature at three different speeds.

Au nord ouest de Madagascar, une bouée de mesure composée d’une ligne flottante de 3 hydrophones a été déployée et a pu évaluer la signature acoustique du navire à 3 allures différentes.
